About us
The Registry Guest House is owned and run by Bob Calder. With his wife Anne, who has raised family in Peterculter and whose extended family also live in Culter, our roots therefore are firmly established within this area. The vision for The Registry was to create a boutique guest house from a building which for many in Culter has many memories.
Bob Calder most recently managed The Bieldside Inn and has worked for the same company, PB Developments, for nearly 30 years and is a veteran of the hospitality industry. Bob may also be familiar to many from his appearance on Channel 4's 'Come Dine With Me' on its first visit to Aberdeen – or Bob 'Bob' Calder as he was referred to throughout! Anne's fine eye for decoration and furnishing has provided The Registry with its period style and helped to regenerate this important part of Culter's past.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Registry Guest House whether your visit is long or short, business or leisure.
